The M1 secretary system offers workstations for the home office or for the office.

The workplace at home should also meet certain standards that have long been established in the office world: Ergonomics, support for technical and digital solutions, functionality and high-quality materials. For this, you need a high degree of flexibility in the private environment; not everyone has a separate study at home. Light and variable furniture that can be rearranged and reorganised without help makes working in the home office pleasant and comfortable.

For this purpose, we have developed the VARIO M1 secretary to match the M1 modular system. Based on the filigree frame, a whole family can be put together with various attachments: there is the side table, desks in two working depths, plus the desk box and the drawer box.

The clear, simple and light design has a modern look and its versatility is convincing, not only in a private setting: restrained plain colours or strong colour accents with the VARIO trend colours, high-quality soft-touch or real wood veneer surfaces allow many variations.

The M1 secretary consists of a base frame, an extension and optionally a cover shelf. The tops can always be exchanged - a simple side table becomes a secretary with a folding desk top, or vice versa.

The base is a welded frame, and various attachments can be fitted by means of pins. Attachments that fold out or extend forwards, such as the secretary element, are additionally screwed to the frame. Velcro straps can be used to guide cables along the frame.

Side table
By adding a simple 19 mm cover plate, the underframe becomes a plain side table.

Side table / drawer box
The drawer box turns the substructure into a side table with drawer. There is a 20 mm slot between the top/bottom and the rear wall for cable routing. Elements standing on the box can be electrified in a hidden way.

Console
The desk is a box closed on three sides, which shields the working area. A 20 mm slot runs between the base and the rear wall for cable routing.<

Console 600
With desk 600, the work surface can be extended to a depth of approx. 580 mm by folding it up. The slot for cable routing is also included here.

Desk box
The desk box closes the work surface with a lid that is folded back. The work surface opens underneath. Ideal for storing a laptop and other utensils. There is a 20 mm slot between the base and the rear wall for cable routing.

Secretary
The front of the secretary can be folded down as a writing tablet. The top shelf is divided, the front part is folded back to open the inside of the secretary. On the tall versions, a screen can be set and by folding up the top shelf, the view of the screen is not disturbed. There is a 20 mm slot between the base and the rear panel for cable routing, which is particularly useful for permanently installed equipment.
