On the basis of the VARIO M7 series, a shelving system has been developed that is specially designed to hold push-in boxes. The open and closable push-in boxes are slightly deeper than the shelving carcase and thus project slightly, breaking up the normally flat front. They can be freely positioned within the shelves, creating a cheerful, homely atmosphere because of the casual, lively layout.
The push-in principle of the M7 shelving system can also be used in a sitting recess module, which, with integrated lighting and an electricity supply option (power socket), creates a little tucked-away corner for quiet reading or communication. There is also a desk box that fits perfectly into the M7 shelving. It is the ideal supplement for a home office or can be used as a temporary work station in larger office areas. The front can be folded out into a desk surface using a simple yet stable, easy-to-use mechanism. The work station can be closed back up again, quickly, simply and conveniently.
The individual M7 shelves are 800 mm wide and 415 mm deep. Based on these dimensions, units with a height of three and six binder heights can be constructed. The fixed shelf bases form a horizontal grid that brings order and structure to the relaxed layout of the push-in boxes.
The M7 push-in boxes are made either as an open box or with a folding door. Two boxes fit next to each other into each shelf compartment, and the boxes project out of the shelf by 70 mm. An individual box measures 335 x 279 x 450 mm (hxwxd), and the clear height is 303 mm.
No holes are drilled, for aesthetic reasons.
Naturally, the shelving system can also be used without push-in boxes as a clearly structured shelf without system drill holes.
